Great location, great value for money and very easy to check in.

The kitchen was a bit limited... there were things missing like a sponge to wash the dishes.

Value for money. Ok for very short stay. Don’t use the tableware.

Convenient location, big comfortable shower, fridge available.

The room was gloomy, dark and the furniture a little bit damaged. There was tableware and sink but no doing nor the dishwashing soap to clean it but ourselves yet the cleaning staff didn’t clean them during daily cleaning either: dirty cups left in the sink, dirty yet “pretended to be cleaned” glasses with stains of lipstick remained upside down by the sink. No kettle. Staff at the reception doesn’t speak English. We booked double room with a bed for two - got two separate beds with separate mattresses put one by one.

the cleanliness location and facilities made it a good stay

it was clean, in a great location and had everything in the room that we needed.

the air conditioning did not work and even though we had an internal room facing the gap between the two buildings it was noisy in the evenings until late.

Some tenants were very noisy until late at night. The front desk took action as soon as I complained.

The room had everything we needed and included a small kitchen. The room was very clean. Access to local bus stations was easy. The lady at the bookings desk was very friendly.

Some of the staff at the main desk seemed unfriendly and unwilling to help. Unsure if this was due to the language barrier difficulties.

location is great. make sure you get a good room

the location was terrific for what we were looking for in Madrid. The staff was very nice

the room was very tired and in need of repair/update. (for example the wood trim was broken in places, the paint was stained if peeling and taped together with brown tape, the caulk in the shower was cracked and broken). The heating/cooling system was unresponsive and the heater was quite dirty.

Non of the staff spoke good English, but that’s English for you, arrogant and ignorant . We need to learn another language early on in schools!

The location.

The staff doesn't know english, only spanish so it's hard to communicate and find informations. The apartaments are not like the picture, old furniture and the view inside the courtyard.

Location was good for where we wanted to be.

Location was good for where we wanted to be. Smooth check in although we couldn’t understand the lady she was nice.

Beds were so creaky the whole unit that surrounding them were waking us up every time we moved. Room was a little tired. No need to make up the room and change sheets/towels everyday in this kind of accommodation. Every other day or not at all for a 3 night stay is fine with an option to get additional supplies if needed.

The good location wasnt enough.

Location - The location was great, only 20 min walk to the citycore and very nice restaurants very close-by. Fridge - Nice to be able to get cold beverages.

Bed - The bed was very hard and uncomfortable, didnt sleep well at all. It was also very small prob 120 or 140 cm, Not enough for me and my partner to get a good night sleep. The pillows vas no ordinary pillows but one long, Not very comfortable either. Neighbours (noice) - As it also lived full-time residents in the building, it became very loud and you could wake up late by all kinds of sounds. And the room was very hot so you wanted to have the window opened and that made it impossible to sleep cause of the sounds. warm room - very hot, no AC to turn on. these three combined made you sleep extremely badly. Could hardly sleep for 3 hours without waking up either from the heat, the bad bed or the loud neighbors. If we visit madrid again we choose a real hotel and not an apartment hotel.

The hotel is at great location. The room was very clean with comfortable bed. The bathroom was very clean and well organized. There was a small kitchen in the room.

Fairly good location, nice apartment block and close to a lot of things.

It’s an apartment block with some living there and some there for their holiday. Reception in a tiny room and only certain check in or check out times available. Room was ok but dated. Bathroom was filthy.

Centrally located, but it's not the Ritz.

Apartamentos Centro Colón is very centrally located in Madrid and is easily assecible by public transport from the station or airport.

It's a bit of an odd set-up sort of part apartments, part hotel??? There is no real reception. The unfriendly desk staff points you to what looks to be the managers office and the booking in takes place there. The rooms are small apartments with a kitchenette, hotplate and a reasonably sized fridge. Whilst clean the apartments are looking very worn and in need of refurbishment. On bookings.com it shows that their is a bar and a restaurant, if there is no one ever showed or informed me where it was? Lots of bars and restaurants close by and a taxi rank and Metro station are just around the corner. If strip clubs and casinos are your thing then both are situated here too!

Very disappointing

The rooms were very outdated like something from the 1950s. There was a musty smell which made me feel sick.It was certainly not like the photo on your site .There was no air con and no fans . Definitely not up to even to a 1 star .
